For more than forty years, scientific research undertaken by international teams of researchers has shown how the life of our organism obeys internal rhythms regulated by a set of clocks and biological rhythms, the biorhythms.
The science that studies these biological rhythms is called Chronobiology.

A biological rhythm is defined by a period during which a phenomenon presents a peak of maximum activity followed by a trough of minimum activity. These biological rhythms are reproducible and, above all, predictable.

They are reproduced throughout the day and throughout the 28-day female cycle.

These biological rhythms concern our skin, which lives through this natural cycle, like a breath.

Many factors concerning our skin follow these natural rhythms and evolve during the day.

What are these factors?
For example, the thickness, acidity, elasticity, regenerative activity of the cells, microcirculation, and water content of our skin evolve during the day, with peaks and troughs of activity, highs and lows.

The natural functioning of our body and our skin is constantly seeking to find a perfect balance of all these factors.

A temporal dimension in beauty care

The knowledge of chronobiology has already been applied in many medical disciplines. Indeed, all physiological, immunological and neuropsychological activities can be characterized by biological rhythms.

A biological rhythm can be defined as a time interval between two similar events.

During this time interval, the biological phenomenon has a peak of maximum activity, theacrophase, and a trough of minimum activity, the bathyphase. These biological rhythms can always be reproduced and predicted.

The introduction of the notion of chronobiology in the panoply of care offered in dermo-cosmetics stems from the knowledge of the temporal organization of the skin.

In recent years, the scientific argument for chrono-cosmeticshas been fleshed out with the growing data on skin circadian rhythms.

Each action of KLYTIA products has been rigorously tested with healthy volunteers under normal conditions of use, under the supervision of pharmacists.

The results show particularly high levels of effectiveness and satisfaction. They are presented on this site with the description of each KLYTIA product.

KLYTIA scrupulously respects international ethical rules in terms of working conditions, safety, respect for the environment and more particularly for flora and fauna (no animal testing).
